Default LY6 boost limit ?

will I sent Rick @ trick performance the cash to start building a turbo kit for a friend with a 2002 reg cb manual trans 1500 4x4 sierra
the truck has a stock 2008 LY6 with a 228R cam

we got the s480 turbo with a big custom FMIC

what is the LY6 boost limit , the stock CR is 9.7:1

stock piston ring gaps stock pistons stock heads

Are you asking about the 2002 engine or the LY6?
You didnt mention which engine is the stock 2002

Cool just checking...

with head studs and LS9 head gaskets, 20psi with a good fuel and a spot on tune should be quite fun.
but it all depends on fuel and tune at that point.

gas is 91 and if we can push 16psi on the stock rotating we would be happy

aiming for 600whp .. sounds resonable right?

very easy.. i pushed mine to 15 psi this weekend and it was awesome.. (LQ4) but lean too by the end of the run

lq4 has 9.4:1 and I suppose you run 93 gas

oh just saw 91 octane..
might have to work the tune up slowly.. any plans for Methanol?

i just saw you said 91 oct.. might wanna start slowly at 10psi.
