I would go with a bigger pump...10 degrees is a pretty good starting point.

Id start out at 8* timing at 9psi and work it up.. never hurts to start low.

Actually too little timing is hard on exhaust valves since its putting so much heat into the exhaust, but 8 degrees is fine.

8-9* is a good starting tune..
