I understand about the dyno numbers and the dyno really is best used as a tool for tuning. Unfortunatly the world of performance involves the customer posting their numbers. Unless we all go to the same dyno it just isn't the same. I would guess that his tuning with his experience will help you get it to drive right and make all the power it's going to really make.

Grippy's being funny. The guy who pulled his 122 before he was even due for an oil change.

EDIT: That should have read "Hear, hear."

I read about Grippy changing his build with total disbelief, and empathy. Both of my projects have dragged out so long (4-5 years) I'm fearing I might do the same thing...I sure like the front mount turbo kits! lol

Talking Update: Dyno graph

Here's the dyno graph for the optimized tune on the 383/122HH with the new 14-bolt 3.42 rearend.

The upper & lower lines represent the before/after hp/tq as Rick received it then retuned it...he has a way with the tuning! the lower graph shows the boost delivery difference between the 122hh & TVS. The thin lines (crazy erratic) are the 1222hh and the thick (smooth linear) are the TVS! "I'll take the TVS for 200, Alex."

Even though the new tune looks a lot better, the torque numbers still fall pretty hard at 4500rpms...is this still the mp122 out of its efficiency range?

I have a tahoe with a kenne bell side mount 373 gears 10 pounds of boost dual 3 inch with cats 6.0 all forged and I ran a best time of a 12.4 I think the supercharged could be out of range my builder said dont stroke the motor and supercharger if i was to stroke the motor he said the supercharger would not work right. I think colby might need some new exhaust scrap the y pipe and run 3 inch duals let the motor breath mabye it will be in the 600/600 range
