Its Trick Turbo time
#32
Alots happened since I updated this. Turns out the guy that originally tuned it turned the knock sensor sensitivity up so it was showing false knock waaayyyy early. A big thanks to DGR tuning for the help figuring that one out. He also helped me with alot of the little things I had wrong in my tune but it seems I pushed my timing too far a few too many times and popped the ring lands on #5 and 7. It had about 14* in it and I got a couple really good burnouts out of it before she gave up on life lol.
I picked up an Lq4 for 600$, swapped my cam and springs over and dropped it in. It seems I pinched the oil pickup o ring putting it together because I only had about 20 psi of oil pressure, which I wasn't happy about. So I dropped the pan with it in the truck (again. I don't like this game lol) stripped the oil cooler bolts on the side of the pan. Stripped the oil pump bolts using a torque wrench set at 9 ft/lbs. no idea how but i heli coiled everything and put it back together but no luck.
The engines a 2002 and it had a green o-ring but the new ones red can someone explain this to me? I have since given up and swapped my melling pump in with a new o ring from melling so that should fix it I hope. I just need to bolt the balancer and whatnot on and fire it. I'm praying to the car gods It's fixed because I'm tired of screwing around under this think I just want to get back to burnouts.
Pictures and videos of shenanigans and and lots of power coated stuff to come.

That sucks for all the bad luck, when I was rebuilding my lq9 motor I reamember the oil pump coming with the 2 different color o rings also depending how the pick up tube was designed was what o ring to use.

Alright help me out here people. When I drop my truck into reverse I can feel it go into gear but when I try to take off it revs up and feels just like the brakes are locked up. So I jacked the *** end up and while it's in reverse nothing happens. I can go under the truck and the driveshaft spins freely I have no idea what the hell is going on. All other gears work fine
