Default Brake booster and turbo?

Hey guys. I'm running a trick turbo on my 2011. How would boost effect the brake booster? Should I be running a check valve in-line to it?

It has a check valve. Problem is when in boost you haven't any vacuum after a few pump of the pedal. Are you trying to build boost and the truck is moving?

I never did anything different from stock on my 4.8 gt45 s10 and it worked fine. It was a stick though so I didn't need to ride the brakes to build boost, but even driving around town like a maniac in and out of boost, I never noticed braking ever being a deficiency.

Shouldn't effect it at all, besides when brake boosting on a roll the pedal gets harder cause it lost its vacuum assist, and the check valve wont allow boost in. Same thing foot braking at the line to build boost the pedal can get harder too push, but if you pumped it and matted it from the beginning it'll hold as much as your brakes allow.

Put hydroboost on and you won't have any problems at all because then it runs off of the power steering pump instead of vaccume.

Im at 14 psi now, still running the factory setup with no issues. as soon as my foot lifts off the throttle, im pulling 20 in of vacuum. the only upgrade ive done to the brakes so far is EBC yellow stuff pads. These pads have excellent grip cold without having to warm them up. The only issue i have so far is Traction! lol
