Hell, I want a ride when you get it done! Never been on one....always wanted to. I wouldn't think lack of air flow would be a problem no matter where you mounted it.

Got the intercooler installed today. Didnt take it on water but ran it on trailer and held it at 3000 rpms. Ambient air temp was 90 and my IAT's never went above 95. Gonna test a 4 blade prop tomorrow and drop it in the water. The prop pulls a ton of air across the intercooler so possibly I may not need to build a scoop.

Plenty of airflow. Pulls a ton air through the intercooler even with boat on trailer. Did a lap around my dry green bahia pasture this afternoon and IAT's never went over 100
