ls1 fans off of ebay a year ago for 100 bucks... still havn't put them in yet. Offer me I might sell lol.

i got mine from the local salvage yard off an '05 1/2 ton for $300, don't know about the 6.0L but it was wider than my '03 5.3L's rad so i ended up changing that too

price has gone up since this thread. Fans did add 20hp to our dyno test truck.

whats the CFM on those compared to the LS1 fans, and are they ready to bolt-in?

 

NOt sure about ls1 fans never compared them. The fans are SPAL USA curved blade fans, and are rated over 1700cfm per fan. On my 6.0L ONE fan would keep the trucks water temps cool, and the a/c never had any problems keeping the inside cold even on 100F+ days.
The units drop right in and bolt right up. You will spend more time getting the old unit off.
We use the stock clips on the tanks just like the stock shroud did, and and same bolts hold the top.
No relays are sold with the kit.
The current test truck, we wired both to turn on with key on. When you stand in front of the grill you can feel the air getting pulled in. I am thinking I will switch one to work with the a/c clutch wire one day.
