Default that huge heat exchanger from frozen boost

...got it installed

stock maggie one compared to the type 101 from frozen boost

I had to redo my mounting stuff for the hex and big trans cooler

I have 3 7" fans I still need to put on. I am going to put 2 on the heat exchanger and 1 on the trans cooler. The tranny cooler doesnt work nearly as well right there as it does normally...I also need to get an elbow fitting for the hose barb since its too tight over there, a couple more bolts, and wire up the fans.

I did a quick test of the new hex and cruising IAT is about the same as before +15-20), and peak temp is about the same (around 150), but recovery time is about twice as fast.

Very nice! That's the h/e I wish I would have picked up instead of the CTS-V one, that thing is huge.

My 20gpm Meziere i/c should be arriving in the mail today and should be on in a couple of weeks, so I will get some IAT's and recovery times for it and post up.

I used to use that one on my kits, they work fine! Holds tons of fluid, only thing it's a little thick, but well worth the installation and fits behind the stock grill.

Im using the stock maggie bosch pump.

Im a little disappointed that it didnt help the peak temps any since that is what I was really wanting, but it does help tremendously with recovery times.

Not supprised about the final numbers. The IC has alot more to do with that then teh HX. But you did notice a quicker drop after the fact meaning this HX holds more water and cools it better.
Looks like you had some room between the HX and the ac. Would your tranny cooler fit there.?
To bad your not closer I would like to try our new one. Probably 3 times larer then that one.
Nice install behind the grill.
