Default Blow off valve

I'm wounding if I need a blow off valve for only 4 to 6psi of boost and no intercooler to start. I'm going to rout my charging pipe similar to how Trick has his with out an intercooler. Do you think Intake temps are going to be through the roof runing here in AZ with out intercooler?

With no intercooler yes your temps will be high and kill power.

A blow off is to save your compressor. When the throttle closes the compressor is still spinning and compressing air so when the air hits the throttle blade it has no where to go but back to the compressor. Which will cause the compressor to spin backwards ( which can cause damage to the compressor and lag ) a blow off is good insurance, and I would run an intercooler for sure. You can run an Ebay intercooler like alot of other board members to save some coin.
