On my livernois system it was set up to have the valvecover vacum line to go to the air box and that use to make it suck oil into the box... when i got rid of the airbox i just stuck a little breather filter on the vacum line now some times it spits a little bit oil out the little filter but, it just drips to the ground... Is this bad? Should i have this done differently??

Please correct me if I am wrong, but wont your header design rob all kinds of power? It looks to me like it would flow terribly... Of course what do I know, you are the one with the 9 sec truck, not me.

The old log versus tubular discussion. I look at it like this. With a turbo, you have a big restriction in your exhaust (turbo). It's like trying to empty a 5 gallon bucket though a straw. Will it empty faster if its the shape of a standard five gallon, or if its a 5 gallon funnel? The funnel shape may be only sightly better, but it still got to go though a 3/8 hole (read major restriction). Make since??

pluging away slowly but surely. got the exhaust all welded up, just needs some hangers and maybe some tail pipes or dumps, it is prety deep and mean sounding right now. got the waste gate dumps done, batery is done, some of the wireing is done.

the list of things left to do is geting shorter, i wish i had more time to work on this thing. charge pipes, some wireing, crank case evac hose, vacume lines for wg's, water pump for intercooler, ahhhhh, i think that is it

i put up a few more pics

So, how are you going to route you exhaust this time before the tire or after? I see pics of the mufflers but no pipe afterwards....just curious.

i might just try dumping them right there but most likly will end up turning them out in front of the tire again. i like it quit going down the highway and dumping it under the truck might be too loud for me. geting the pipe out from under the truck usualy makes a big diference.

Looks like some really good fab work that you have been doing there.

That 2 gauge wire. Is it fine strand like welding stuff, or normal strand like automotive applications? I would think that the 2 gauge should be able to handle the starters amp draw.

Yea...going out before the tire would probably make it quieter. Good luck with the rest of your fab.

i would say normal. it came with a batery relocation kit from summit. the starter cranks just fine but there aparenty is a little more voltage drop than i had before and it required a slight tuning change.

Can you run a separate cable to the main fuse junction and leave the existing one to the starter solenoid? That would make startup voltage loss even less than it was stock. If you do that the ground may need to be increased or doubled up too.
