edit, pics >> http://www.neufamily.org/images/turboworkgallery/

truck has been sitting for about 6 months due to low funds. i am starting to spend some money on it again. i am not going to charge anything for my truck anymore so i still have lots of money(time) to go before i get this thing running but i got a good start.

next week i will have 2 44mm tial waste gates, header flanges, turbo flanges and some vband flanges.

i did a little practice weld on some of the header tubing. i think i can make this work.

the turbos are rated at 850hp each, the local guy i got them from has seen over 800rwhp on one of these in a supra . this is going to be fun.

the truck is prety much as quick as i want it right now. i would like to break into the single digits but i could have done that with a my old set up and some tires. i am just doing this because i like working on the truck and fabricating stuff. i do think i will make quite a bit more power but it might not be much quicker.

last year was a prety sucsessful one for the truck. i spent too much time and money on it and blew off many other things that i shouldn't have. i dont regret any of it but things need to change. from here on out i will be taking my time with things. working on it when i have time and feel like it but take care of other stuff that needs done first.

my goal is to have it running for drag week 06. i will probably just run it in the 11.0 daily drive class and go for fun. after that maybe goto the dyno and see if i can peg that bitch at 1200rwhp , after that.... who knows

FINALLY, someone actually tig welding something here, hats off to ya. I hate when someone spends all the time and money on a custom turbo setup and migs the pipes and makes it look like ***.

Looking foreward to seeing the blue beast bottom out the dyno

Looks great Jim. I have a new Miller 180SD but need to learn how to use it.
