it's alive!!! sort of. i just couldn't resist. i am not done with it at all but i hot wired a few things so i could fire it up. ahhhhhh, music to my ears. it is always amazing to me how far something like this can be torn apart and then just fire right off once it is back together.
i have to go out of town this weekend so it wont actualy be ready for a test drive till the weekend after this one. i still have to wire up a bunch of stuff but i got the remote batery done. the exhaust needs finished, wg dumps, charge pipes and some vacume lines. i finished up about 10,000 little things the last few days and just have those few big projects left.

got the exhaust fabed up tonight. it still needs finish welded and hung up but thats the easy part. it is prety quiet and that is with all of the joints just being tacked together. i let it run for a little while tonight. i am down to one good weekend to finish it up but this weekend i am going out of town so it will have to wait till next weekend.
i ran into a snag where the truck didn't want to start. thanks to the geek it was a quick fix. aparantly with a relocated batery there is a lot more voltage drop when starting the truck. the cranking fueling had to be adjusted to acount for the lower voltage. once that was tweaked it fired right up everytime.
the crank case evac tube i welded into the down pipe is drawing 2-3in of vacume at idle!!! i assume the vacume will only go up with more exhaust flow. thats thru full exhaust too
, if this really works i have to wonder why more boosted guys dont go with such a simple and cheap crank case evac set up. i will put a presure gauge on my crank case when i am ready to let er rip and see how well it is really working.
