allrighty then. i got the tac moduel put in and pluged in the adapter harness and 90mm tb. it works other than it only goes to about 90% open just like other have said.

got the injectors put on the intake and the rails put on. set it on the motor and figured out what i need for fuel line stuff. got that all ordered and i even have an elbow on the way from intakeelbows.com. also got a base gasket for the elbow to intake ordered and the intake to heads orings on the way.

about all i can do till i get some parts in the mail is figure out my vacume lines. i might have to drill and tap a few holes but it should be prety easy.

this project is going fast. i might just have it running this weekend again. i need to get busy on those cut outs so i am ready for some real tests.

twin tb's might be doable. i really dont know how that wireing works but i could see running one tb with all the wires and the other with just the power wires to the motor and maybe both of them would open and close.

another remote posiability would be to adapt something like a 105mm tb to a driver motor. it would probably be harder than i think but maybe not. what if you just cut off most of the tb but kept a portion of the shaft sticking out and adapted that to the 105mm shaft? i haven't really looked at it and dont even know if it would help but since the 90mm doesn't even open all the way i might just check into it. i could sacrafice the 78mmtb just to try it.

Just something i've been thinking about, with my set-up at least, I have 3" turbo piping going straight into a 78mm (3.07") throttle body. I'm not sure how much the 90mm would help on a FI application. I know your twins will sure flow more air than my 76gts. Just a thought. Basically i'm considering keeping the 78mm tb when, or if I go to a edelbrock intake.

i agree. for your set up i dont see spending the extra cash on the larger tb since the one you have matches the charge pipe you have going to it. the intake might be worth it depending on just how much you want to squeeze our of your set up.

on my set up i have twin 3" pipes from the turbos going to the intercooler where they combine to one 4" pipe going up to a 3" tb. a larger tb makes sence for me. i just wish it was a little larger and opened 100%. 90mm = 3.54

Cool. I couldn't remeber about your new set-up. Just put a string on the throttle and run it through the window to get that extra 10%

Hey, thats how my dad does it on his 59 caddy.

Works just fine since there was a hole in the windshield already. A vise-grip on the carb linkage and some string tied to that. Wahm-o instant throttle action!
