^ I agree this could be the biggest issue, I know before my truck was tuned properly it was very slow to spool and didn't have nearly the top end power it ha now.

Usually it's Mike from NEP. But I replaced the ECU and had a tuner here do a half-assed tune after this build. I am in the process of tuning with Mike again.

Probably, but tuning a converter for your setup is going to be tricky. You want it loose enough to allow enough air through the engine to start to spool it, but you want it to couple very hard early in the rpm band to not blow through based on where you want to shift.

I have to think this alone will make a huge difference. Have mike tune it and re run it. Change nothing else and see what happens.
