The passenger side motor mount would not line up. It was off by a free millimeters. I could get the bolt in but it wouldn't catch. I had to loosen ALL the motor mount bolts on both sides and slowly work them all back tight a little at a time. It sucked.
damn brother....I honestly can't remember if it was like that for me when I stabbed my **** in but because it doesn't stand out in my mind I'd say probably no........any little thing can be a nuisance though, even when everything is supposed to be the same. Sort of what makes this hobby so much fun!!

I've found several minor differences so far. A couple with the NNBS oil pan vs the NBS oil pan. No oil level sensor on the side, there is no screw tapped on the front edge for the wiring harness guide, the pick-up tube is too long on the NBS engine for the NNBS pan to fit, the NNBS pan has an extra hole that the older blocks are not drilled for.
Fun stuff!

Got the starter mounted and wired, KR sensors, grounds, rear crossover blocks, oil pressure sensor all hooked up. Hopefully tomorrow I will get a lot of the main accessories back on.

Finished up everything under the truck. Got all the stuff I wanted on top put on. Now I need to start the TVS install. It's not a direct swap for the 112 so I will have to re-route some hoses and maybe some wires. We will see.
The PS pulley was not lining up all the way so I pressed it on as far as it would go and it's still off 1/4" or so. Then the bolt for the center of the pulley was too long! I had to add 2 washers to space it out.

Wheatley got my PCM today, hopefully it will ship out tomorrow. My HPT software should be here tomorrow or Saturday. Maybe by Mon/Tue I can fire it up and see what I did wrong lol

Maybe it's just the angle of the pic, but it looks to me like your power steering pulley is on too far. It's too close to the pump from what I can see.

It's just the angle. Here it is with a straight edge on the PS pulley.

I'm scared to keep cranking on the PS pulley. Can I go too far and damage something? The install tool was getting really hard to turn. I could have probably gone a lilttle more but I didn't want to crack the housing or something...

First:
My old valve cover had a big hole in the rear drivers side and this hose was in it. Looks like some sort of check valve, I'm sure you guys know what it is. Anyway, my new valve cover just has a hose vent barb. No way to put the valve back in. Is it crucial? I could always get some bigger diameter tubing and clamp it on the end and make it an in-line check valve. What do you guys think?

Progress update:
Got the blower set up for install. Cleaned up the wiring harness some more. Plug wires on, PCM is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. All I have to do is strap on the blower, make all injector/sensor,coolant connections and start buttoning it up. I'm not sure about the evap part yet since it's different from the 112. Bought coolant and oil today.
If I wasn't going out of town for the day tomorrow I think I could be firing it up by Saturday night. I took off work Monday to finish just in case so if all goes well I should have it started Monday.

Then the tuning beginsI leave the country in 8 days. It's gonna be close!

The 2300 looks to have a lower profile than the 112 and the difference in the throttle body size is pretty noticeable.

the 2300 doesn't utilize runners in the manifold design = lower profile
