It's finding the time to work on it that's the problem. I did make some headway today...
Got the cam in and timing chain issue sorted out. See the keyway at 45* and the "0" at 12 O'clock....#1 also at TDC.

Found the oil pump O ring to be destroyed. Not sure if I did that taking it off or...so that needs to get bought tomorrow and replaced.
Got the head bolt holes cleaned up...

Got the lifters ready...

I will try to get the heads on tomorrow...
Blower arrives Monday

Do any of you have any pics of a2300 lower blower manifold? Is this the correct blower for my LSA/rectangular port heads?

And these aren't the right gaskets:

Ya, when I'm rotating the crank to tq the rocker arms. I put the front cover on before I put the heads on. Didn't really think that through.
The other side say 12 O'clock, to reference the cam gear dot.
I'm not really sure what that is all about. I dont think the valves would hit my pistons even if the piston was all the way up and I torqued the rocker arm on that cylinder. Is that procedure more for guys with big *** cams and milled heads?
