Default 317 heads for turbo

hello everyone im in the middle of a build and i found a great deal on 317 heads my question is are these good turbo heads for a stock 4.8 or should i keep the stock heads

I would stick with the stock head if it were me. Adding studs, or ARP head bolts wouldn't be a bad idea.

I have the stock 862 heads on it now.

Run the 862s or your cr will drop a lot 862 chamber are 61.15cc and stock 317s r 72cc

My thoughts exactly. It will be a dog out of boost with low-mid 8's compression.

How much boost are uo going to run?

Keep your stock heads, I put 317 on my 5.7 and wish I had more compression now. I want 243/799 heads...

Yea I have my stock 317s on and when my motor was built they put in dished pistons. I've asked them several times for the parts list but I never got one. But they said it was abour 8.2:1 cr and it sucks out of boost!
