Default 2 step off footbrake?

Would there be anything to pick up with the 2 step over just footbraking it now?

I'm only leaving on 5 psi or so and around 3500-3600 rpm. Doesn't feel like my rear brakes can hold much more.

2 step brings in boost faster and will limit ya to a set rpm and set TPS

More controlled launch

I need to see about the dual rear caliper setup. I still want to see how you did the brake lines to each caliper.

I need to do something so I can be at WOT before the launch and not have to worry about pushing thru the beams

Did you go back to single?

Problem with the single caliper is small single pistol caliper and old school pad. Not enough force.

that's the same one I'm using.

Johnmaster from this forum was the first to use that setup a couple years ago, then I contacted him and with Oakley's help, he had the brackets manufactured. Shortly thereafter 1320 copied the design.

My calipers have a large piston which is why in a dual setup even a 1.125 master couldnt build pressure

Tried swapping front to back, originally had a 7/8 master and never had a pedal...went thru 5 large bottles of brake fluid thinking i had a leak

Soon as i unhooked 1 set of calipers i had brakes

Math my front 08 calipers and the gmt400 calipers just had to much volume to fill....

A step will help ya front pushing thru brakes, did this pn a lightning...footbrake no 2 step....4 psi and 3600rpms
2step and footbrake 14psi and 4000 rpms
No hydroboost either

Wow....those results on the 2 step are pretty amazing. Would be a great result for the cost if I could get similar.

Looks like our brake setups are the same, I have NNBS 08 police up front and GMT400 fronts out back, but with hydroboost.

Very similar just im using 14" rotors and aggressive pads on front
All new 1/4" GM brake lines
All new russel braided flex lines

Rear pads are top line wagners lol
Fronts are EBC

Pedal is hydroboost one...my pedal feels stock but testing even half pedal my brakes are locked
