Default Went away to cabin up near Deep Creek Lake, MD...truck broke

on my way home. Had wifey, 3yr old, and my black lab. 30 minutes from home, clunk...clack clunk...wtf...uh oh, no steering, uh oh...hardly any brakes (hydro)...****.

One of my metco pullies lost its bearings and finally took a ****. Came off and shredded the belt. Went to a NAPA bought an overpriced small belt and limped her home.

Good news is, I was able to add a little more dirt to her. As long as no rain washes her off I am bringing her to the next track meet looking like this.

Notice how the replacement belt just rests on the alternator pulley, hardly any wrap? I could only muster like 10 volts from that on the way home. And that pulley was SMOKING LOL. Could of been worse I guess, I have my second Hxr at the bottom of the engine bay, that pulley could blasted through it...wait...I didn't check that. It did whack one of my trans lines and caused a small leak.

(yeah yeah yeah blownchevy, yes you can link this thread to those who think metco pullies kick *** )

If the rain does wach it off, I know where there's a nice dirt road that not too far from Hancock. Takes about 30 minutes to drive from one end to the other- Gar-un-teed to be muddy by the end!!

Yeah, I'll swap over to the stockers now.

We have a place off of Table Rock road. Right were rt50 crosses over West Virginia into MD..about 10 minutes into MD from there.

Yeah we took the wifey's family up their. It was everybody's first time there. EVen my wife. LMAO. We went to a couple state parks and found quiet a few monster sled riding hills. It was fun except I did more home repair than anything. I fixed the copper line going to the toilet. Then next day the hot and cold going into the bathroom blew out. Fixed those. Then the breaker that feeds the well pump went bad. sigh...needless to say I missed out on the biggest sled riding hill, but my family had a good time. That's what counts I guess. Really sucks being broke down on the road after all that...but...STEELERS WON!!!!! and I did watch that. So the good out weigh the bad!!!
