Default Isky triple 12 cam 5.3 NA results

Finally getting around to putting this up. This was the best run out of like 6, during dyno tuning, before a lifter started to go bad and they got the final tune dialed in. I think I could easily spin 6200 before the power drops off hard. It made 299.4rwhp @ 5600 and 310.5rwtq @ 4300.

That's pretty good torque under 2000rpm.

Every dyno is different, but the 5.3 with bolt on mods only is usually good for only around 250 I think... I'd be happy with those numbers!

Maybe I am missing something, where does his dyno show RPM?

Good question , looks like bottom is run time , kinda fools ya into thinking its RPM until you see peak at 8000 Lol !

No . I forgot to ask before they tore into the cam swap. But based on my previous best 1/8mi et and mph plus weight, it shows crank hp to be around 300-310 so figure 15% drivetrain loss and it puts me around 260rwhp before the cam and milled stock heads.

RPM is on the right and is shown by the green line that pretty much follows the HP curve. Looks like im making 290/290 @ 5250. Not bad I think, considering im still running through stock manifolds and cats. I can now see why this is such a good cam with a turbo.

Ah, saw the 2000 and assumed it was rpm.

In any case you're right though. Torque is 260-265 at 23-2400.

Too bad I cant feel it with this knock sensor low voltage code I keep getting.
