thats pretty conservative amount of boost, although you would most likely need meth to support the added boost...

i assume in Cali that 91 octane is all you can get.. so cant really do more with the timing and lack of meth.

i would put some meth to it and up the boost a bit, maybe 10-12 psi or so, should still be fine with the internals you have there...

someone feel free to correct me, i am no FI expert, i have helped a few friends work on their FI setup though..

thats is a nice number you put down, considering fairly low boost and 91 octane tune, with that air temp.

congrats.

the bottom end is good for 800...so no worries there.

im gonna head back to the dyno this winter to take advantage of lower temps.

with the 2.8 pulley the inlet temp is getting up there on my gen 5 mp112

im leaning towards methanol and long tubes right now....then a blower upgrade... =)

thansks for the heads up.

I ran the JBA's an resisted long tubes for a while...What puley are you running? Ooops, I see you posted the 2.8 so you are about pulley'd as low as I'd want to go. Long tubes will drop your boost # a lb or so but you'll gain power with the less boost. Meth may allow a bit more timing with the available boost.

exactly....

im thinking methanol and long tubes with a good tune. also considering MP112HH for more efficient (cooler) boost.

or slow the blower down with a bigger pulley to reduce temps and run more timing.

as it site right now, it is still fun as hell.... 79 mph 2-3 shifts @6000rpm with 4:10 gears and the 4L80e

Boost > timing...that is too a point I dont think you'd make more power running a 3" pulley and adding timing but getting a cooler charge and running some meth will morethan likey allow the increased timing with the boost you make. Going to a 112HH from a MP112 going to make a difference? Have to ask BC about that one but I don't think so. Running a TVS is the next step up in blowers imo. Tuning...what do you have now?

TVS is the right move, just not the cheapest toy. Tuning...Los Angeles Performance Division. w/HP tuners. cant remember exact timing. I have my feelers out regarding the HH or mp112 or TVS. most likely go with methanol, LTs and a new tune. TVS in due time.

I think those are awesome numbers without headers and meth!

Headers and meth should be good for at least another 25-30rwhp. The 2.8 pulley is spinning the blower pretty fast, especially without meth.
