Default 2014 RCSB Silverado

Finally gave in on trying to find time to install my supercharger and took it to a local shop.

2014 RCSB 5.3
Speed engineering LT
Magnaflow muffler
SLP TVS1900
Circle D 278mm 2600
L86 throttle body
Pat G tuned

Think there might be a little more left in it, want to upgrade the driveshaft and a few other mods then get it retuned. Pretty happy with the results, not bad for a little work truck

It's got more in it, I can assure you! Just up the boost and get it tuned for 93, I'm pushing 650+ rwhp thru my 5.3 and tvs1900. I think it's maxed out now though.

I’d be careful with that stock’ish torque converter.

If I remember right, you’re already above the rated power level.

I've wondered about that but no issues here even loaded to 6k daily. However when I put the hammer down I leave at idle because it doesn't 60' any better when unloaded. Just jump around too much. Maybe that's what's saved it so far leaving at idle. Then again I think the '14 dbl cab and crew with 6.2 had the 6 spd so maybe it'll take some more.

All that on a stock bottom end? That's the only thing scaring me from doing much more, not sure what the breaking point is. Maybe I need to reconsider and just go ahead and do the pulley upgrades.

Might be, I talked with Circle D and with the billet front they said I'd be ok. Guess we will see, not against upgrading it down the road. This was supposedly all I was going to do to the truck, we all know how that goes...

Yes, stock bottom end with built top end, 3 angle valve job and a PD blower specific cam.

Just saw this again. How's the truck running? I've still put only 39k mi on mine since the blower but no issues except the bypass valve took a dump a while back. Stock converter and everything no issues loaded to 6k everyday. It was a great decision to do this to my work truck. 63k mi now. GM should've made it like this.

Mine still runs great, I've put about 45k on my current setup. I did have to build my 6l80 and upgrade to a billet converter.

Mines going to be a lot better soon. After seeing someone talk about a 6.2 it gave me the itch to find one myself. Located a complete motor and was going to just drop it in stock with the blower, then got talked into a cam, which led to rods and pistons.... somehow another it all ended up with Mast Motorsports gen V 402 rotating assembly with a custom spec’d cam by Pat G. Sticking with the blower for now but it’s gonna be a little small for that engine, maybe look for a turbo or larger blower after I recover from this. But then again I’m not looking to push this to the max, I don’t race, don’t go to the strip, just like a little extra power and always wanted a 402 since back in high school days.

🤷‍♂️ Who knows, y’all know how this works, sometimes things just happen
