new times with Whipple
Finally got a chance to go to the track with my #44 Multec injectors and my LS-1 edit tune. I had the timing at a very conservative level and dialed in the IFR about a month ago and everything seemed to be running well. My previous best was 13.11@100 with stock aux whipple injectors. The air was great at MIR last night(55 and barometer above 30) and the track was hooking sufficiently for good #'s. Here is the breakdown of my best pass:
60'-1.801
330'-5.252
1/8-8.191@83.06
1000'-10.776
1/4-12.987@101.71
I was amazed when I picked up my time slip and so was everyone else at the track. This run was with about 9psi(3 1/8") pulley and 100 octane to make sure it doesn't detonate. I believe that I can go faster with a little more timing and getting the fueling perfect. I also have a 2 7/8" pulley that I haven't used yet which should be around 11 psi.

My Tahoe is gone and these times were in my '00 RCSS pickup. I don't know the exact A/F ratio but I had no knock and the 02's were in the .890-.910 range the entire run.

With exactly the same Whipple supercharger on my '01 Tahoe my best e.t. was 13.93@97.4 with a 2.04 60'. This was with all of the Whipple craptronics, stock PCM tuning, same pulley (3 1/8") and 100 octane. The Tahoe weighed almost exactly 1000 lbs more than my pickup. I purchased the pulley directly from Whipple as I believe that this is the only place you can get them for the Whipple unless you find them in the classified section or on Ebay.
