Default G-tech Meter Only But A 14.33 For The 07 Tundra

my tundra on that g-meter ran a 9.08 at 97mph in the 1/8 and 14.33 in the 1/4. i know that these are not correct times but still seems good to me for a completely stock truck. i just want to know how far this thing is off. some feedback on how big of a difference the times are would help.thanks.

Somthing is off there. How fast did it read for that 14.33?

the 97 mph is for the 1/4 not the 1/8. my 1/8 mph was a 77. i ran a 8.88 at 79 with the tow haul on. i was just wondering how close this g-tech is to the real time before i go to the track.

G-techs are vehical dependent- some run close to track times some don't. Your just going to have to go to the track. I would watch out at the track some chevy guys might tie lead to your truck

The G tech usually reads mph a tad bit high compared to the track because of the way your mph is averaged at the track. I'm pretty sure parish8 ran very close at the track to what his Gtech reports ET wise.

Great times man, congrats.

I wouldn't say your time is too terribly out of line. The new Gtech's are supposed to be pretty damn accurate. The old ones were pieces of crap from what I've heard.

Your g-tech times are dependant on 2 things really how close you are to your:
1) "true weight to what you entered in your g-tech"
2) the setting that has to do with the suspension really can sway the g-tech either way also if stock leave it at like 2.6 cause your suspension will be sloppy.. if you have upgraded leafs, traction bars, upgraded struts like bilstein might be able to bring it down to 2.0 cause it handles more like a car

my experiences with g-tech are kinda weird.. trap speed is always identical to what it is at the track within .25 mph et is usually .2 less on the street cause traction sucks and my 60fts are always 2.35ish on the street and 1.9's on the track

learn how to lauch the pig like a pro and believe me you will definatly run down some cars that will definatly be very suprised a 5k truck beat them it's funny imo,lol

i should be running 13.8's very shortly on the motor alone, I'm revamping my whole exhaust.. Bought stillen long tube headers with the 1 5/8 primaries (the powerflows where too large had 1 3/4" primaries) my 14.2 NA time is with 3" exhaust all the way back to the y-pipe and 3 1/2" after the y-pipe.. so after studying the therories of header designs and relationships to primaries to hp/cubic displacement to achieve maximum scavaging abilities i now know my old set up was WAY OVERKILL it was built for a 450-500hp truck.. so I'm selling it all and going down to 2.25" before the y and 3" after the ypipe i expect to be in the 320-330hp region after this with an additional 25-35lbs of tq..
