Default tundra vs silverado

My Stock tundra crewmax weighing in at 6000lbs vs 2012 Crewcab silverado 5.3 with intake, exhaust, and programmer. From a 35 roll and from a dig, put bus lengths on him both times. I talking like 15 truck lengths easy. Now he has added a 3000 stall, custom dyno tune, longtubes, and gonna cam it. We have yet to run again, but dont think that gave him enough to beat my stock truck LOL.

the tundra in stock form are pretty solid. eventually that 5.3 can be modded to roll on past you.

Yeah, with his mods he will be pretty close. Once he cams it he should be able to beat me. After swapping those heavy all terrains mine used to have, it moves out alot better now. Funny thing is he was killing all the GM trucks in town, and rolled up on me one night asking to run. Now he is scared to run again, even with his mods.

We just got a run in, after him ducking me for two days we end up on the same street, and he is wearing some stock 17s. We wait for traffic and police to clear and do a dig run. He leaves on the convertor and I leave at idle. I put a truck on him at the line and pull at least two more in about an 1/8, and hold that lead for a good half mile.

It's a crewmax, seen two different specs, one just a few pounds shy of 6000lbs and one at 5700lbs, plus I am 250lbs and keep some stuff for work in my truck. If its not 6000 lbs, its pretty dang close.

And his truck is still stock cam, he didn't get that done yet. I'm sure he will beat me after the cam and tune adjustment. He said he ran a stock 6.0 chevy the night before and killed him. I'm still impressed with what this heavy *** stock truck will do from the factory, just wish there was a way to custom tune these things.
