all i've got is a throttle body spacer for now. are those pacesetter longtube headers? what's the difference between them and shorty's?

throttle body spacers are junk man, i had one and took it off and gained power..

you should grind down the plates on your throttle body for better airflow for better throttle responce. its free.. i got my throttle body for the fastman, www.thefastman.com.

longtubes you get alot better equal flow, the stock y-pipe is treally restrictive. but if you were to do shorties they would bolt right up. longtubes require too redo whole exhaust system.

have you fixed your plenum yet ? and have you checked for the death flash ? software sticker under the hood?

The M1 is a great intake i had one on my R/T
Lowend loss wasnt bad still would cook the tires like nothing!
M1 intake and the B&G M1 PCM flash does wonders, compared to superchips!

death flash is when dodge retarded the timing to cure there plenum failure, which in the longrun doesnt fix the problem. the death flash kills the performace and MPG of the truck.. puttng a superchips or a sct would over write that and it would feel like a new truck with the new found power..

when i had death flash i couldnt even do a break stand, now after the tuner it will burn just hitting the gas

the plenum is a fault of dodge that mixed 2 metals, look down your throttle body for oil you either gotta do a new gasket or order a intake manifold and bypass all the problems

Hughes makes that modified intake with part of the plenum runners reduced. The effect you get is it not dying on the top end and still retaining your low end grunt. The modified barrel intake from Hughes is a great piece for a mid solution. The Hughes unit also fixes the plenum to where you don't have the gasket leak issue.

Once you want to turn up the performance you can go with a M1. It pulls like a freight train mid to high end. If you have 3.55's you'll feel a small loss low end but the higher your gear ratio the less you'll feel it.

If you have gears and a good exhaust then go for the M1 unless you do a lot of towing. Then I'd wait for a few more mods first.

3.90 gears are a real good mod.

A modified stock "keggar intake" can be had for 150 on bionicdodge.com, dakota-durango.com, dodgetalk.com in the sales forums. Which is what I would go for. Also you could do underdrive pulleys from March pulleys. Good luck
