Default Looking for good transmission shop near Pomona, CA.

Driving to a 4th of July BBQ today my truck went to shift, I heard a horribly loud noise, and now I'm sure my transmission needs some serious work (The truck won't drive, I hear rubbing metal noises when I rev the engine in gear and even worse noises when moving it in/out of park). Now I need a good transmission shop near Pomona, CA. Does anyone know of any such shops?

Thanks Bad ***. I actually found a place called Certified Transmission in Chino. My fiance's dad knows a guy that's sent 100 transmissions there and none have had issues. I'm gonna get it towed there now. My current tranny was built maybe 1 1/2 yrs. ago and I was hoping it would last a bit longer since it was built with a bunch of upgrades to handle the power. I'm planning to actually sell the truck now since I just need something more reliable. I don't want to sell it but it's my daily driver and I need something that's not gonna break like this. A part of me was thinking of getting a larger pulley to drop the boost down from 8psi, but I don't know if that would really address the tranny vulnerability. Ultimately I don't want to wind up with a broken tranny every few years.

I'll post the truck up here once I get the tranny and new tires (Toyo Proxe STII's) installed. Oh and trav1eso I live in Phillips Ranch near Mission blvd.

Yea I have heard the stories as well, but I know of 2 people personally that have had bad luck with them.

In 1 case the first time it lost gears, it was like ok things happen... Then it Failed again and exploded the second time and they said He was lying about the power he was making because the trans was supposedly rated to 500HP. They also wanted him to pay for all the broken hard parts... BTW both times it failed whiten the first 30-60 days... after they claimed to have put the best parts in it an guaranteed it would hold up for his application.

Really, a warmed over 350 with CARB legal cam and Heads in an 84 camaro with a stock rear end makieng more then 500HP... I bet that combo was barely making 400 at the flywheel.

Any ways looks like he found a reputable shop.
