wheatley tune gained 2.6 mpg!!!
hey fellas,
my uncles truck had been seeing HORRID gas mileage, from a low of 11mpg to an average highway and some city at 13.2.
anywhere in between those figures, never over!
Well we changed his plugs and wires, cleaned his airfilter and MAF sensor, seafoamed his fuel, combustion, and oil. Just about everything you would do to a stock truck to fix fuel economy. Air pressure in the tires, EVERYTHING, pretty much, but still, on the way to houston, easy on the gas, 236 miles, 13.2, thats running premium 93 fuel. And being easy on her.
Charlie tuned her up for us, and on the way back, same trip, same speed, same everything, i saw as high as 15.9! but averaged 15.8!
Thats awsome! Every little bit helps, the truck is an 03 ecsb 4wd z71 silverado 5.3 w/ .373 gears.
If anyone else is having gas mileage issues, i suggest u go see charlie!
