Default VMAX tuning options I should tell tuner? few qestions

Yes, I have a 01 Tahoe, It has the vmax engine in it stock everything. I have a great tuner PCM4less. Im about to get it dyno tuned shortly. I hate my current rev limit at 95 mph. From a dig, I can feel it pulling all sorts of timing. With my 5.3 if I wot, its like its in neutural. The 5.3 tune is runing it currently after the swap and I have not went over 3400rpms. So Im getting ready to tune it. So sorta dont know what to expect...

I would like to know what top speed can I expect? I plan to tell tuner to remove top speed completely. Remove 100% eng & tq management. And If he could make it rev a lil higher/shifts. I definitely want more timing as well.

How fast mph can I expect to go? Is 140mph out of the question? 95mph feels like its doing 45mph. Its a 2wd leveled with Tbars maxed to level it. Tires are stock 16s with 3.73 gear ratio.

I would advise against going any faster than what your tires are rated for, and even if you do, things get real shakey above 100 and its not a pleasent experience unless you have a lowered truck. Driveshafts also fail at high speeds. Basically driving 100+ is reckless and pointless in something like a truck, if you want to go that fast, buy a motorcycle IMO.

I agree with you, but I do alot of driving, and my truck Im building like a touring model. Tight suspension, sway bars front and rear, beefed up shortly. Its also a 2wd stock height. Coming through the mountains and other stretches its clear and roads are big enuff. I go cross country if the job requires. I just hate being passed while Im doing 100.

I would estimate a stock lq9 could push a stockish tahoe to around the 120 mark. With a cam/intake/exhaust 140 is not out of reach.

Ok, thanks for the answer. Is it true that the new escalades go 160mph? This guy amazes me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=goe1zr-0Rag
So I am trying to see what else should I have my tuner, tune for? Any opinions?

i dunno scott, it's on the internet so it must be true
i'm with atomic, i think it's not too far out of reach, but it's not safe with your factory drive line.

I knew something was not right with the video. Well cam, intake, exhaust are no doubt coming shortly. I got my eyes on a 216/218 range. Exhaust plans are custom WYE, no cats, corsa touring, dumped. Intake I want a nice CAI. So I know it will need to be retuned when I get those. The tires, will be rated the highest I can find in my size. Thinking about 275/60-17s on a 17x9 wheel. Plan to keep the 3.73s and add a true trac. Suspension will have bilestien shocks all the way around, new bushing, etc. The truck handles pretty carish for a truck With the Tbar front end and rear with coil springs suspension, front and rear swaybars. IMO it handles well. Its also shorter than a stock 4wd. But leveled.
