Default Tuners in Central Texas

Has anyone experienced any good tuners in Central texas? I'm from Killeen/Fort Hood area. Anyone tried Mike from Sunshine in Killeen or had experience? Or can anyone recommend and great tuner in the area for GM/LS platform? Looking to get a good drivability/street tune. Thank you.

No not personally. He was a sponsor on LS1tech for years and I have never heard anything negative about him ever. He is very active on that forum.and seems to have an excellent reputation. He has a web site. Google it.

yeah I have too... though he is expensive. For bolt on n/a he was 600 for tune and extra for flex fuel.

That's what I charge. These days you (hopefully) get what you pay for.

yeah that's why I was asking about Mike at sunshine. He quoted me 300 for a street tune add 200 for a dyno tune for WOT. Seen a nice Vmax at a stoplight had a nice cam from the sound I yelled where did you get your tuning from. He just said "check out Mike at sunshine" "good work".

What is allen nelson up to now days? I havent seen his name in a while. He was somewhere in the central texas region.

I don't know. Someone on another forum mentioned Neil that did dyno work in Killeen and Temple. Now is in Temple only. I think I'm going to go with Pat G. Down in Victoria Texas. Seems highly recommended. Street and dyno tune will be 600-650. And another 100 to dump tank and tune for straight e85. I'm probably going to do just the street and dyno for 93 octane.
