Stock truck--Whats the speed limiter

Nope, on the 03-06's there's no stoppage on the needle is smooth sailing from 100mph. But my 03 is all stock and it stays at a constant 97-98mph wont go over 100 because of the stock governor. That's with the pedal to the floor. Well, on my 01 it was about the same with the speed governor the only difference was the fuel shut off coming on and off! It was a damn nuisence felt like the tranny was going.On my 03 is stays steady and constant at 97-98mph with no fuel shut off.

i believe mine stays at 120

i've done the programming on an L33 05' truck and can check that. that truck was limited at 98mph in the programming.

My 04 Z71 cuts off at the 97-98 mark. Had it on the dyno last weekend before the STS gets installed. The Diablosport Predator is going to take care of mine soon.

The stock programming in my '05 SS was set at 106mph for the shutoff. It is now higher.

that's correct. the awd SS's were 106 and the 2wd SS's were 98.

are most computers programed with smaller than stock tire size which should throw off the mph. i've seen various like that.
