stall not staying locked up

Its the stock settings from a 4l80e segment, we just swap in the segment and call it a day.

i made all the changes. do you think i should bring up the shift pressures and decrease shift timing or leave them as is? i would like a little firmer shift but i dont want to over do it.
a couple of the threads i found said i can run my shift timing to 0.000? wouldnt that be hard on the trans?

changed the setting and installed the tune this morning and she drives so much better. however now when I put her into D the dash wont light up the D. I have to go all the way to 1st then back to D for it do light up. I have never seen anything like it. still drives fine though.

weird. the transmission knows its in drive and does what its suppose to just the light behind the D is off for about 10-15 seconds then it lights up. ill see if maybe adjusting the neutral safety switch takes care of that issue.

Zero out your shift times.
You have an 80E now, no it wont be to hard on the trans. If you put the stock pressures in and you don't like the shifts use your shift pressure modifier tables to increase for shifts and not the base pressure tables.
Did that cure the lockup issues?

You can zero shift times, that is simply the computers ability to adapt and will not necessarily speed up the shift. A 80e is much, much more forgiving then a 60e and can take allot. Base pressure- you can play with this some, but I would set max pressure at 90 and not go over that. Allot of 80e that I have tuned needed a bit more pressure in the low tq areas so it was not such a turd at part throttle

i zeroed out my shift time on both tables and i dont know if i am reading this table right but if i open my TCC apply and release speed it displayes vehicle speed the gear to lock up and the % the throttle is open to lock the converter correct?
it looks that 2nd gear had no TCC lockup because its not set to engage at any throttle position until the truck is at 254mph. wouldnt it correct the issue if i reduced the speed of the 4th gear lock up?
