Reduced Engine Power, U0107
#1
Code I'm getting is U0107, Lost Communication with TAC. When I first did the swap it was great. Little while later it'd go into REP after going WOT for a while. Other day it turned a 2 hour trip into a 5 hour trip cuz it would kick into REP every 1/4 mile or so.
My connections are good, although when I did the swap I extended the pedal to TAC harness to go through the throttle cable hole instead of through the firewall. Added maybe 6" of 14 guage wire. But I imagine if it was an ohms and resistance issue there, it would have popped it's head up immediately.
Also using an 03 TAC on a 05 PCM calibration. Thought that may be an issue.
Or did my junkyard TAC bite the bullet?

i'm getting the same code, but with a few other symptoms....here's my thread

maybe a common issue, maybe not.
here's another interesting one from awhile back...they also extended thier wires to the throttle body
