Default Question on HP Tuners and EF Live

Can either of these two programs be run from the CD or do the programs have to installed to run properly?
I have a work laptop but do not have administrative privileges to install any programs, hence my dilemma.
Thanks in advance.

can't help you with that since I never use my cd, but have you tried rebooting in safe mode and removing the password?

I always used to do that when I was younger on my parents computer.LOL.

you can run hpt on a flash drive, but the drivers need to be installed. I ran it directly off of a flash drive for a little while and worked fine.

You should run it locally on the machine. The good part is it's a very unobtrusive program and rather light. Unless they are totally ****, they shouldn't have a problem with it for those reasons.
