Smile Picking up a Diablo Predator tommorwo

So today i ordered my predator for my 5.3 tahoe and im hoping for the best. I either hear really good or really bad. I would have gone Blackbear but i cant wait another 6 months to have him come back. I heard the these things shut down half way through the tune and fry the PCM? Can I disable Torque Management? I think theres a way to log info so if there any important numbers i should be looking for. If its all good with the 93 tune im gonna have Diablo make me a custom tune and see how that goes.

Hopefully it all goes well, if not im sending it back and going with Blackbear.
Within the next month ill put this thing on the dyno and get a real HP claim.

I know, i know. I cant stand waiting for anything. Do they send you their PCM before you ship yours out?

I like my Diablo fairly well. Yes, you can disable TM, and Johan Mangs will make you a custom tune for whatever you need. I have had great luck with mine for the past 2 years

As far as a handheld tuner goes ive heard the this is the best one right next to efi live autocal. I would have gone with a custom tune if i was set with everything i wanted but it seems like this would hold me over until i start tearing down the motor. If i get a cam i know im either going wheatly of Blackberry. Jenna and Justin have the best customer service i have ever seen hands down and are always somewhere to be found.

You're just spending money twice that way. You act like they can't send you a retune if you do more mods later...
