Default o2 sim or tune?

I am about to purchase full length pacesetters headers and y pipe and will be eliminating the cats. Which is a wiser choice:? o2 simulators on rear o2's or should i have the rear o2's deleted from the pcm. I am concerned about emissions, if you delete o2's from the pcm does that allow the o2/cat monitors to run for emission purposes?

i cant even think of how many of my buddies iv told to get a tune instead of sims. im gona go out on a limb and say you get more of the sotp felling from a tune than any bolt on (no power adder). this is just my experience though. its definately worth the money. call allan nelson hell do you right.

No. By deleting your rear O2 sensors, you are eliminating the cat monitoring O2s. The front O2s mointor your A/F ratio, but have nothing to do with emissions. When you remove the cat, you are removing a huge piece of your emission system. If you are concerned with emissions, perhaps you should look into a catted y[pipe.
