Default O2 Sensor Extender

For the tuning gurus, what are your thoughts on running one of these?

I've got Kooks headers & green catted y-pipe but it still throws P0420/P0430 codes with the stock tune.

While I do have a tune for my setup (all stock but CAI & LTs), I'd like to be able to run the stock tune, if necessary, without issues.

i cant imagine that will function at all like its intended. if all you want to do is burn money and have somewhere to keep your stock sensors, im sure it will be great.

eyeballing the picture, it doesnt even look like it saves you any space. im pretty sure the sensor will just about fit in the space that elbow consumes.

Dont even see how exhaust would actually get to the sensor, especially at higher rpm

It's a gimmick for rear O2s to supposedly keep cat codes from setting. With the ease of turning codes off these days there is absolutely no reason to try and use something like that. Actually it's the spark plug anti foulers that you are supposed to use.

Yeah, they're to keep codes from setting. I've read that some cars now read the rear O2 for fueling data, not just a cat efficiency check. I was wondering if that's the case with the 2014+ ECM.

Wow you have Kooks Green cats? That is some money. I would be pissed. Does Kooks have anything to say about it? Can they help?

I've had my run in with Kooks too. So I understand. Honestly, I would reach out to your tuner. They can make these issues go away very quickly.

Tuning isn't the issue. My current tune suppresses the CEL. I bought it to be able to run the stock tune when necessary.
