I just wanted to know if this would be a good a/f gauge to use as a wide and to help me tune the truck.

I don't see anything concerning a wideband. All I see is HPT MPVI Pro in the shopping cart.

Or what all do you need to run HPTUNERS and a wideband. Thanks for the help.

You just need a wideband with a 0-5v signal wire. I use the AEM and like it. Also, make sure you get the HPT pro version.

Ya, HPT does not come with a wideband. Most widebands, including the AEM mentioned above come with the ability to log with tuning software. Basically HPT will record the wideband readings along with all the other readings.

The HPT MIV Pro has a connector socket on the side and comes with a connector. You take a wire from your WBO2 gauge (usually white) connect it to the correct pin (which is given by HPT documentation) on the connector then plug it into the MIV. You will need to set up a custom PID in your scanner to make use of the WB but its actually not that complicated. If you're going with a common WBO2, there will probably already be a PID available in the menu.

Would this be a common WB02?
