AEM makes a nice kit and the one ^^^listed above there is just the sensor and wiring which will hook up to HPT but there is no gauge included with that one. Personally I would get one with a gauge so you can mount it in the truck and be able to keep an eye on it.

I had the AEM setup in my truck and it worked great. Recently sold that and bought the NGK AFX kit cause I have heard nothing but great reviews about them and wanted to try something a little different. Either way both will do what you looking for and are great companies.

The UEGO in the AEM kit is a Bosch O2 and pretty common. I have the AEM WB kit with the gauge and I am generally pretty happy with it. There is a PID for the AEM wideband so you shouldn't have any trouble.

I can't wait till tomorrow and be able to log some info. Does it matter the weather you tune in? Like rain or cool weather.

The best time to tune is when conditions are "normal". If it is raining like hell, and abnormally humid, I would wait for a clear day. But get everything installed and start collecting data. Make a few logs and see what needs tuning. Good luck man!

Well very intimidating. I was going to post some questions about it.

1. How do you get your file from the vehicle? Reason is cuase I would like to let someone look at it and get some advice.
2. I read that an 02' os is better to have to tune with, is that true?
3. Also the trans part does it matter if you dont have a tc, reason is i went from a built 60e to a stock 60e? I havent driven it since I got it back from the trans shop.

New Users: Help files and Demos

Start with that and read like hell.

I would pull your tune out of the truck first and then download a stock file from the HPT respiratory. Then use the compare feature in the editor to see what is changed.
