ok nother question

so the fan and thermostat are all a mechanical heat tye of deal, no electrical involved, so if i get a tune with ls1 fans and a 180 stat it woun't affect my truck at all till i actually switch them out?

who doesn't? it won't matter regardless, when the fan turn on temp is reached the PCM grounds a non-existant pin, won't hurt anything. Once the harness is installed the pin will then exist. For all custom tunes there is no reason to not have the fans turned on, it's like having provisions for future mods and saves everyone the trouble later.

clutch fan is totally mechanical. the purpose of the 180* stat is to be able to run more timing without detonating, the truck won't cool any different and may have some slight knock retard (assuming the tune is good) until you get the stat in, but I doubt you'll notice much difference
