Default Custom PCM Tune and HPTuners

I've had HPTuners for a few years now, but i don't use it nearly as much as i should. I'm debating on getting a custom tune with one of the vendors. If i do get a custom tune, let's say by BlackBear or Wheatley, will i still have the ability to use HPTuners for changes down the road? Or, is the PCM locked down and no changes can be made?

Black Bear use's EFI live so he could do a mail order but couldnt email you hpt files...

Im not sure if Wheatley does email tuning or not..
Since you live in Chicago you should check out Fast-Motorsports..Brandon The tuner there does awesome work and could prob use your software to tune it..

I'll definitely check out Fast Motorsports. It looks like they are relatively close to me too.

Any thoughts on being able to still use HPTuners after a mail order tune? I'd definitley like to maintain my ability to customize my tune later down the line.

No matter who does it, what they use, or how they tune your truck, as long as it is not LOCKED afterwards, then you can modify it with your HPTuners software at a later date if you choose to. No idea if anyone who's been mentioned locks their tunes or not, but definitely something you need to confirm before committing.

After looking at the OP's signature/mods, I don't think I'd want anything but an "in-person" street and/or dynotune anyway.
