Default couple diagnostic code questions

I just got done putting 03 5.3 in my s10. I have two check codes. Was going to try to get some input on them and how i might get rid of them.

Code: P0405, EGR sensor A cirvuit low

Code: P1860, TCC/PWM solenoid circuit

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

a 2003 5.3. Stupid question...did you put egr on? I am assuming you have tuning software. Lots of questions to be had here, transmission? You have a custom harness for the trans. Speed sensor plug in correctly?

Like dew said, 03+ engines DO NOT have EGR, but the older ones do, so If you are using your stock PCM, I'm not sure how. But the codes will need to be turned off. the trans code is for the lock-up soleniod, check the wirring to the soleniod, be sure to check pins in every connector, (i've seen pins not fully pushed in at the trans connector cause problems). If all else checks o.k replace the TCC soleniod, they cost around 20-40 buck.

There really isn't too much different between the 4l80e's well I take that back the oil temp sensor changed. What year is the 4l80e that you have?

were are the oil cooler lines? are they both next to each-other on the right front side. Or is one of them a little further back on the right side?

Well i got problems figured out. The egr code i turned off with my diablo tuner. And the TCC problem i found the wire that controls it and changed the pins, and the code went away. Now just to see if i get better gas mileage is the real test!
