okay. I replaced the Transfer case shift control module on my moms blazer because I didn't get a reading from the old one. Now the new one is in and I'm getting
c0387 unable to perform shift.

I've been googling it and all I find is a list of codes, nothing that says what needs fixedi.
any suggestions to try that will give a more specific code? dash buttons flash and then go back to 2wd

1999 Blazer 4.3 auto NP8 xfer case.

did you program the new module?

 

The new modules don't need programed, only the old ones. At least thats what it's said on every single thing i've read about the new ones

 

I installed module 12577412 in replacement for 15748800
15748800 requires reprogramming but 12577412 does not. according to everything i've seen.
