alright so i copyed everything over from a 2001 lq4, now what stuff do i copy over form the lq9

 

LQ4 and LQ9 tunes are essentially identical except a slight bump in the high octane tables in the 9 tune

 

ok so use the lq4 tune then copy the spark tables over?

 

Yeah you can do that, or just run the LQ4 tables. Alternatively you can tweak the LQ4 tables to your own liking.

 

ok i got the lq9 swap done. started it up and it ran very rough. so i flashed the 2000 lq4 tune with lq9 spark tables onto the computer, and it ran 90% better but its still not to my liking. what else should i copy over to the lq4 tune?...... I used the the entire lq9 long block with the swap to include to intake manifold and fuel injectors, the only thing i used from the 2000 5.3 was the fuel rails and the trottle body.
