5.3-6.0 wiring harnesses are they the same?

Default 5.3-6.0 wiring harnesses are they the same?

i have located a motor and the 6.0 of coarse is the choice of all!!!!!
but it doesnt come with the wiring harness.
the 5.3 that is broke that has a complete harness,is all there nothing is missing?

yea they are the same.... what year difference are we workin with here??

I swapped a 04 LQ4 in my truck and only thing i had to swap was the Oil Pressure Sensor..
Everything else is there..

one is a 02 and the other is 99-01 i belive no more than 03 i know for sure.

You can use your existing wiring harness with no problems at all.

If it is off an HD pick up the tranny connections are different (if it had a 4L80E) and the oxygen sensor hookups are reversed. Meaning if B1S1 O2 was female it is now male (something like that) but really not major issues.

If it is FBW trottle body, just swap the 5.3s intake one the 6.0. Also like others have said the oil sensore may need to be changed.

well the 6.0 is flbw but the 5.3 is not so i will just swap it all over.
now the o2 and tranny wires? are they different?

Just keep your existing wiring harness in the truck and you won't have to worry about any of that.
