Not possible, have to segment swap.

Welcome to the forum, we have a very nice search function that will answer almost any 4L80 swap question you'll have.

If you use a conversion harness from Nelson or PCM of NC, you don't need a segment swap.

Before I admit defeat or accept that as fact, I will have to research it. Shift algorithms are different so not sure how wiring gets around that.

The Nelson and PCM of NC harnesses use relays. They’re tried and true but expensive.

I would prefer wiring in the front sensor and repin the harness with segment swap.

I am running a 4L80 on the 4L60 tune and got all the info here in one of the stickies, had to wire in a 5 pin relay for 2-3 gear solenoid. If that relay comes unplugged tranny will go into limp mode, really sucks, I found out this Sunday thought I killed another tranny, relay was gone but was an easy fix. Zip tie mod now LOL. I will look for the info and post a link. Use the search thats how I found it a few years ago.

A million times this. Its not very hard to do as well. Move some pins, add a speed sensor, tune. Done. 100% OEM function.
