Default Ecm help!

I have a 2000 silverado I did an Ls1 swap, got a 5.3 harness from a 2001 and used an ecm that my buddy had laying around with a mild tune but it’s file locked so I can’t re use it...the truck turned on and ran with this ecm..I went ahead and bought one from a 2001 silverado Hd wit a 6.0l got a mail order tune from Texas speed and performance and now that i hooked it up it doesn’t seem to wanna start..my question Is.. is there a difference in the pin out on the hd ECMs that I have to change? The new ecm from the HD truck is a 0411 type

Nope, but it could be a theft lock issue. or they did not change the Vin number to match your truck in the ECU.

Don't think the VIN number has to match the truck. My V6 swap Sierra has a Silverado V8 VIN number and works fine. Matter of fact my tuner "tricked" the ECM to display the V6 VIN. That was a nightmare as HPTuners saw a mismatch in the OS and VIN. Lost $200 in credits trying to get it to work. Finally had to send it back to the tuner to have the V6 VIN changed to a V8. Have TSP e-mail you the tune file and post it here. We can see if it's a VAT's issue or the wrong trans (80e) segment that might mess with the PRNDL switch.
