Getting message on dash that says "unknown driver" and the truck wont start. Security light isn't on when its having the issue.
If I disable VATS will that keep it from disabling the truck? Wasn't sure if it was different from VATS because I don't have a security light.

 

On my 04 Escalade, the driver 1 or 2 is determined by what key fob you use to unlock the doors. Will it work when you press 1 or 2 on the driver door controls? If so you would need to program the remote. If you have another key fob use that and see if it works.
