I'll be buying a vehicle this spring, either a Jeep SRT8 (used) or a chev/GMC truck....always been partial to turbo cars ( had a GN and a 10sec turbod Mustang) so I'd like to see whats available. Must be :

If I bought a truck from the USA, I'd have it transported to my friend's place in Michigan and pick it up from there (2hrs away)

Looks awesome but I gotta have a 4 seater and 4wd

family and brutal winters/snow here, they often plow and salt/sand the roads.

 

I went for a ride this morning in my friend's dad's 08 Jeep SRT8, bolt ons//exhaust/tune and holy crap that thing hooks (AWD) and pulls hard ! And makes mucho torque down low too.
but, no box, NO real utility, only 3500 lbs towing capacity (not that I tow anything YET) and I'm sure it'd grow on me, but I think the first gen SRT8s (06-10 ?) are kinda ugly...the 2nd gen jeeps are slower but more importantly, out of my price range !

progressive meth kit from alkycontrol runs off the MAP sensor so you don't go threw tons of meth.

I will be listing it next week. only thing not done is the a/c lines. Yes it still has AC. I will be working on getting them made this week.

Local machine shop built the motor
transformance checked out the trans to make sure it was okay (bought it used)

Ive only driven the truck home from the tuner but at that HP obviously its a screamer.

I am fixing to list my 2001 GMC C3 AWD turbo truck. It has a built 6.0 with a 78mm turbo kit by Arizona speed & marine. Full header pro turbo kit. I also just had a 4L80e built with all the good stuff & a triple clutch lock-up converter, cost 6k, sitting in the back of truck. I had snapped the 300m input shaft off of the Hughes built 4L65e, on 10psi of boost. Truck is loaded, it was 50k when new in 2001. Transfer case is new rebuilt also. I started 4l80e swap, then I had 2 blown out knees, and have not finished trans swap. I have all the parts for the swap, new GM. It has E-boost 2 controller, pyrometer, A/F wideband, snow meth injection, 5" exhaust, New 295-50-20 black wheels & tires, sub, etc. 15k on engine, 0 on trans & t-case. Truck is ex-cab, black and gold custom paint. Truck has less than 100k on odometer. Not lowered or raised, sits nice. I will sell truck as is for 16k. With trans installed 20k.
