I want what ARH offers with the 1 7/8" tubes, high velocity 3" merge collector and no slip fit joints. Basically I want what ARH offers, but they are not making a Y pipe for 99-06! Too busy supposedly.

not interesting in slip fit thank you. It's inferior. Check what GM uses on the stock exhaust and get back to me. Ive had too many problems with slip fit in the past, especially with out of round pipes, and I dont want to deal with it anymore.

So with that being said, yes if i had to use mild steel I would prefer a diff connection/joint, but being all GOOD STAINLESS slip fit is more then enough, you won't have issues...

Thats the exact reason I had flanges welded onto my Pacesetters. Absolutley worth the extra $100 bucks.

FWIW Corsa exhausts are GM approved and they all utilize a slip fit design with clamps.
I never considered SW headers because of the price. Especially with the LPP headers out it's hard to justify the increase in cost.

if they have the same clearance issues my pacesetters have with the steering shaft they can keep them.
